"Consisting entirely of Pinot Noir, 52% was sourced from Darling and 48% from Durbanville, the wine spending some six years on lees. The nose is still remarkably primary with notes of Turkish Delight, rose, cranberry, raspberry and cherry while the palate shows pure fruit, racy acidity and a fine mousse, the finish super-dry and slightly salty. It’s a little more tight and nervy than 2016 and should mature beautifully. 94/100"

As you can imagine, being a Genevieve MCC, this is a delicious example of Rosé bubbles. Wine of Origin Bot River, it is super perfumed with fruit, spice and florals. While it is labeled as "Brut", there is just a touch of subtle sweetness on the palate. This allows the wine to be the most generous of Melissa's wines on the palate. It is extremely more-ish, so one glass may not be enough :)

Small portion fermented in barrel. 72 months on the lees. The nose shows citrus, yeasty complexity, earth and spice while the palate is rich and detailed but simultaneously entirely vital. Layers of flavour, the mousse nicely creamy, the finish long and slightly salty. 95pt
