Made from the same vineyard as the Rosé, Grenaatfontein, a structured Cinsault from the organically-farmed vineyard (26-year-old Bush Vines, Weathered Granite). Made for texture: 100% whole cluster fermentation followed by a 7-day submerged cap post-ferment maceration. Minimal extraction ensures freshness. Aged 8 months in a blend of concrete tank and oak Foudre. Bottled unfined and unfiltered with low SO2. A layered, elegant red with great purity.
