While there is no formula for what each case will look like we guarantee to send you six of the best wines we’ve tasted in the last three months. We will be looking everywhere for high quality, interesting and delicious wines.
The wines will not be limited to Ex Animo producers or even South African producers, we promise to source the best and exciting release wines. Some of these will be special-occasion wines, or come in minuscule quantities, and some will be great wine that we just want to share with you.
The Ex Animo team will put these bottles through the wringer, making sure they’re worthy of your glass. We are consistently seeking out new and exciting wines to share with you.

HOW DO WE SELECT YOUR WINES?
These meticulously selected wine cases are curated by the Ex Animo team, led by owners David and Jeannette Clarke, who are certified with the court of master sommeliers, with over 50 years of international wine experience between them. With a deep-seated understanding of South African wine, they recognise the unique characteristics of terroir and winemaking that yield extraordinary wines. Their passion for wine is evident in their commitment to sourcing only the finest examples from renowned producers across the country and around the world.
The Ex Animo team stays up to date on wine industry trends, seeking the best wines. Our commitment to staying informed includes constantly attending tastings, industry events, and exploring a diverse range of regions and wines to ensure we offer a diverse and exciting selection of wines in every box. Leveraging our extensive network of winemakers and industry experts, we’ll ensure you always have access to the latest and greatest wines.

Welcome to Ex Animo Wine Club South Africa. By subscribing to our quarterly wine subscription box service, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.

- Subscription Details
Billing Cycle: Subscriptions are billed quarterly starting on the day that you complete the initial payment with no end date. Cut off for new subscribers each quarter is a week before ‘delivery week’.
Subscription is only confirmed once the transaction has been processed. - Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to subscribe to our wine subscription. By subscribing, you confirm that you are of legal drinking age. - Shipping and Delivery
Shipping: We only provide this service within South Africa. Shipping is free.
Delivery Times: While we strive for timely deliveries, we cannot guarantee specific delivery times, your order will be shipped in the first week of December, March, June and September. Delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances. - Cancellations and Refunds
Cancellation Policy: You can cancel your subscription at any time; the next box you receive will be the last.
Cancellations must be submitted via email, fabiana@exanimo.co.za will assist.
Refunds: We do not offer refunds for previously charged shipments. - Wine Selection
The wines included in your quarterly box will vary. No alterations or substitutions on boxes will be available. - Event Discounts
Discounts are restricted to 2 tickets per Wine Club member per event. The discount code will be shared with club members and changed quarterly. - Privacy Policy
We value your privacy. Your personal information will be used solely for the purposes of processing your order and will not be shared with third parties without your consent. - Modifications
We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. We will notify you of any changes. - Governing Law
