An elegant, non-vintage sparkling wine made from 76% Chardonnay and 24% Pinot Noir.
Chardonnay grown in Robertson’s limestone-rich soils brings finesse and brightness, while Pinot Noir from the cool, ocean-influenced slopes of Stellenbosch adds depth and subtle structure. Hand-harvested and made using only the finest cuvée juice, the wine is bottle-fermented and aged on the lees for extended maturation, resulting in a refined, layered style. Carla uses 25% reserve wine for consistency.
Notes of almond and chamomile complement notes of honey, oyster shell and yellow apple on the palate, carried by a fine, delicate mousse and a long, creamy finish. Rich yet beautifully poised.
