We are very delighted to announce the new vintage 2022 releases from Thorne & Daughters.
Based in the Overberg, but sourcing fine grapes from across the province, John and Tasha Seccombe consistently produce wines of elegance and detail, sophistication and focus. John says of his approach, “we are committed to natural winemaking without embracing faults or flaws”.
The 2022 vintage is, compared to the 2021s, “more open, more upfront. These are generous wines that show immediate charm“, says John. We agree with John, and also find the Thorne & Daughters 2022s more savoury and textural than other wines of the vintage. It is a really lovely set of wines.
Winemaker John Seccombe hand-selects the finest wine wine grapes from special parcels across the Western Cape.
