An expression of Chardonnay that captures the pure essence of this esteemed grape variety. The grapes, sourced from vineyards nestled in amixture of shale and high-altitude granitic soils, contributed a uniqueopulence and refinement to the wine. The wine unfolds with aromaticscents of tart green apple, luscious peaches, and invigorating citrus fruits,complemented by a subtle mineral essence. The moderate alcohol, alongwith a gentle thread of acidity that weaves through the impeccably balanced core, result in a palate-pleasing and refreshing conclusion.

Vivid ruby. Captivating aromas of red currants, raspberry, black cherry, and cranberries, with cedar, herbs, and spice. Lavish palate of dark plum and red cherry, with French oak, spices, and earthy notes. Velvety cocoa, forest berries, and exotic spice emerge. Elegant, intricate, with a long finish and aging potential.

Abrie's latest wine, a Cape Bordeaux blend. Deep ruby. Cassis, ripe red berries, dark chocolate, and tobacco aromas mingle with graphite and herbs. Bold, layered palate with balanced fruit and oak. Rich, dry, distinctly Beeslaar finish. Elegant and age-worthy.

"60% Cabernet Sauvignon from Helderberg, 20% Cabernet Franc and 20% Merlot both from Banghoek vineyards. 30% whole-berry fermentation with a view to making the wine accessible earlier. Matured for 19 months in barrel, 100% new. Enticing aromatics of red and black berries, violets, a certain leafiness and pencil shavings. The palate is medium bodied with fresh acidity and fine, supple tannins. Juicy on entry, the finish long and dry. Elegant and understated. 93/100."
