Ann and Pieter Ferreira started their Cap Classique project in 2012, releasing their first wine in 2019. Purity of fruit and finesse run throughout the range. They work with grapes from different Western Cape vineyards, using traditional bottle fermentation and time on the lees to develop texture and complexity. Following Pieter’s retirement from Graham Beck, the couple are devoting more time to their own label, with plans for a single-vineyard Chardonnay from Lammershoek and a small planting of classic Champagne varieties in Franschhoek.
