100% Organic Chenin Blanc

Previously known as Born of Fire, Sophie’s Chenin Blanc comes from dry-farmed Swartland bush vines planted in 1986. The 2025 was picked earlier for greater freshness and matured in older barrels and foudre, adding texture without obvious oak flavour. Bright and generous, with yellow fruit, floral notes and a distinctly salty finish.

Made from organically farmed Swartland Syrah, naturally fermented after approximately three weeks on the skins and matured for 12 months in 300-litre barrels. Dark fruit, violets, pepper and dried herbs are supported by fine tannins and fresh acidity. Savoury and structured, without becoming heavy.

Walker Bay’s cool maritime climate has long been one of South Africa’s finest homes for Pinot Noir, and this wine shows why. Slow ripening and clay-rich soils give the wine both freshness and texture, while twelve months in French oak adds depth without overwhelming the fruit.

Expect aromas of raspberry, cherry and rose petal alongside subtle earthy notes. The palate is silky, finely structured and lifted by vibrant acidity, making it as enjoyable with food as it is on its own.

Sourced from high-altitude vineyards, this elegant Chardonnay showcases freshness, balance and refined complexity. Aromas of citrus, white peach and subtle toasted oak lead to a beautifully textured palate with vibrant acidity and a lingering mineral finish. A versatile, cool-climate Chardonnay that pairs effortlessly with seafood, poultry and creamy dishes.

Layers of citrus, ripe stone fruit and subtle oak are complemented by vibrant acidity, a creamy texture and a long, mineral finish. Elegant and beautifully balanced, it's a sophisticated Chardonnay with excellent ageing potential.

Julien and Sophie Schaal, a talented French couple, bring their expertise to this Pinot Noir. Hand-harvested and matured in older oak barrels, it reveals a harmonious balance of fruit, structure, and acidity. Expect flavors of cherry, raspberry, and subtle spice leading to a long, lingering finish.
