100% Organic Chenin Blanc

Pure, warm climate South African Chenin from the Voor-Paardeberg.

The grapes for this wine are sourced from the Swartland region. The Malmesbury Shale soil supports irrigation-free farming, forcing the bush vines to dig deep and become more resilient. After hand-picking, the grapes are gently pressed and aged for seven months in 300-litre barrels and tanks. This process gives the wine its complexity, showcasing aromas of mango, papaya, and dried lemon with stony and floral notes. Its long, bright, and creamy finish makes it an excellent pairing for dishes ranging from seafood to veal and goat cheese.

Sophie says her inspiration for the name is a tribute to the Cape Floral Kingdom. Nature is an endless source of inspiration.

The wine is intended to be very complex and rich, showcasing red to dark fruit with an abundance of very fine, exotic, sweet-scented spice. You'll also find a red floral edge and undertones of dried herbs and fresh earth. The palate offers a powerful, layered, long, and symphonic feel, bursting with rich red-plum and black-cherry flavors, alongside notes of dark chocolate and dark plum.
