Join winemaker Franco Lourens for an intimate evening at Annexe (a private dining room by our friends at Mr Pants!) where he’ll share his new release 2024 vintage wines and the personal stories behind them.
Franco has recently been shortlisted for young winemaker of the year 2025 by Tim Atkin MW.
You’ll taste his signature blends, Lindi Carien and Howard John, along with his Grenache, Lua, all named after his family. He’ll also be pouring his unique Chenin Blanc, Skuinskap Steen, and his small-batch Verdelho; Proefkonyn.
And, Franco will be showing his new wine, named after his 10-month-old son. This is a wonderful chance to sit down with a winemaker who is all about creating honest, expressive wines.
The wines will be perfectly complemented by a rustic Italian-inspired feast. The evening will begin with aperitivo bites; a selection of Italian snacks like prosciutto, roasted peppers, and marinated eggplant, followed by a three-course family-style dinner with shared platters and a beautiful, large-format meat dish.
