The 2023 vintage at Scions of Sinai has resulted in precise and intellectual wines of depth, finesse and purity. Bernhard is a vigneron first, and a winemaker second. Actively willing to explain and disseminate information on vine growth, cover crops and all things viticulture, he often underplays his own hand in the winery. Bernhard has been responsible for the farming of the vines since 2016, and the results are more evident in the 2023 wines than in previous vintages.
