The Cat’s Cradle is a 100% old vine Swartland Chenin Blanc, with a bright and focused expression that is zinging with yellow pears and ripe apples. An excellent example of the grape that will benefit from a few years in the cellar.
Christian Eedes, Winemag.co.za review:
“Citrus, apple, fynbos, hints of clove an cinnamon plus an ever-so-slight waxiness. The palate has a dense core of fruit offset by fresh acidity, the finish intensely savoury. Surprising weight and texture given a moderate alcohol. A striking wine of real luminosity. 95/100.”
