This is baby ‘Graft’.
The vineyard is on Karibib farm, in the Polkadraai Hills of Stellenbosch. It lays just below Graft vineyard on granite soil. Fermented with 50% wholebunch and 2 weeks on skins, then aged in 500l  barrels for 11 months.
This block is right next to a poplar tree forest so Lukas always referred to the block as Populiersbos. He asked the harvest team to write the name on the barrel while he was busy, they just wrote Poppy and the name stuck.
