The Makeba Bubbly, inspired by Mama Africa as a collaboration project with my Pinot Noir grape grower, embodies the spirit of Africa: Bright and Beautiful.
After spending 10 years on the lees this wine is a beautiful rose-gold hue. On the nose, you get hints of honeysuckle, with a lovely evolution of aromas into rich scents of hazelnuts and crème brûlée. The mousse is soft and creamy, offering a sensuous play on the palate. There is freshness combined with opulence, spice, and wonderful persistence.
